Jessica Biel Biography

Jessica Biel's good looks, great body and her many talents, has allowed her to become one of Hollywood's most sought after actresses. Her acting debut on the number one rated television series, "7th Heaven", was the starting part of her career that has showed no slowing down.

When she was young she initially began as a vocalist, performing in many musical productions in her home town of Boulder, Colorado. Even at the early age of nine she was playing lead roles. Some of the productions included Annie," "The Sound of Music," and "Beauty and the Beast."

She soon changed career paths at age 12 and headed towards modeling and acting in commercials and competing in "The International Modeling and Talent Association's Annual Conference" in 1994. Here her talent was recgonized and an agency signed her on to do some modeling work for magazine ada and some comercials featuring Pringles and Dulux Paints. She continued to take lead roles in musicals such as "It's a Digital World", the film was a low level budgeted one and it wasnever released.

She got her first big screen break at the age of 14 when she landed a role in Ulee's Gold, a movie about a family on the edge, and the man who brought them back to reality. Her performance in the movie as the gothic and rebellious teenager earned her a Young Artist Award in 1997.

Her second ,big screen movie break came in 2000 when she took a break from her television acting to co-star with Jonathan Taylor Thomas in "I'll Be Home for Christmas".
